Kid Garden Daycare welcomes children between the ages of 8 weeks old and 12 years old. We aim to provide a safe environment for the children we care for in our family home. Our family home is clean, child-proofed, and smoke/vape-free. We have a daycare pup on site named Lily, who serves to alert when unfamiliar adults approach the property.

Welcome! My name is Mitzi, and I am a proud mother of three. As a parent of a 10 year old, I bring over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for and nurturing children of all ages.
Before opening my daycare, I worked as a middle school teacher. I hold a teaching credential and have been teaching since 2018.
As a daycare owner, I've been able to combine my passion for teaching with creating a safe, loving and engaging space for children to learn and grow. I truly love working with children and find so much joy in teaching them new things every day.

Hi, I’m Francisco I’ve been married to my wife, Mitzi, for over 13 years. Together, we’ve built our family and this home daycare with a lot of care and intention.
I’ve worked closely with children as a Little League soccer coach. Coaching has taught me the importance of patience, encouragement, teamwork, and creating a positive environment for kids to grow and feel confident.
My role in the daycare is mainly behind the scenes. I take care of meal preparation, handle daycare errands, and assist with school drop-offs and pick-ups. This allows my wife to remain at the home daycare and stay fully focused on caring for the children throughout the day. My support helps keep everything running smoothly so your children receive consistent, attentive care in a safe and nurturing environment.

Meet Our Second Daycare Assistant:
Hi, I’m Ms. Elia. I’m a proud mother of four and grandmother to six beautiful grandchildren, and caring for children has truly been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.
I’ve spent many years nurturing little ones, and I genuinely enjoy spending my days playing, comforting, and helping children feel safe and loved. Being around young children brings me so much joy, and I treat every child in our care as if they were my own.
I am fully certified to work as a daycare assistant and am here to support the daily care and supervision of the children. I primarily speak Spanish and love helping support a bilingual environment, encouraging children to learn and grow in both languages in a natural and fun way.
I believe it truly takes a village to raise children, and I feel honored to be a part of that village for your family. Supporting the daycare and helping care for your little ones is something I hold close to my heart.

Kid Garden Daycare hosts occasional Parents Night Out events. During the event, the daycare will open Friday and Saturday nights and offer care to parents/guardians that would like to enjoy an evening out.

Are you licensed?
Yes, we are a licensed small family child care home daycare. We are licensed through Riverside Community Care Licensing and are randomly inspected to ensure we follow Title 22 guidelines.
How many kids are you caring for?
We currently hold a small family child care home license that allows us to care for, at most, 8 children at one time.
Is this a home or a facility? Where are you located?
Our daycare operates in our family home. Our daycare follows Title 22 guidelines and is inspected to ensure we provide safe quality care for your child. It is located in Riverside, CA 92504.
Is your staff trained?
Yes, all our staff is trained in CPR and First Aid.
What is your cleaning/sanitization protocol?
All high-touch surfaces are cleaned and sanitized throughout the day as we transition to a different activity. Our transportation vehicles are sanitized daily and deep-cleaned on the weekends. Toys are sanitized at the end of every day and deep-cleaned/washed on the weekends. Our kiddos are required to wash hands upon arrival, before/after meal times and nap times, and as necessary. Each child has their assigned drinking cups and teething toys.

1. You may contact us at 562-556-3431 or complete the pink "Get A Quote" link at the top of the home page.
You will be asked for the name of your child, age of your child, the dates/times you are in need of care, and if you have any additional questions.
2. We will set up a tour date and time.
3. On the tour date, we will tour the home and review the parent handbook policies. You will have an opportunity to ask further questions and receive a more accurate quote. Most importantly, we will take the time to meet your little one and witness how they navigate the space. You are not obligated to enroll that same day but if you decide to move forward with enrollment, you will receive an enrollment packed and submit the paperwork at your earliest convenience.
